A stonemason by trade and an artist in his soul, Jim Gomes is recognized as one of the finest master masons in the state of Rhode Island. He's worked with conventional brick and fieldstone, as well as more uncommon materials like imported carved coral that only the most talented masons can fashion into a fireplace spanning the width of a room. Today, Jim Gomes is also recognized as one of the top lighthouse replica artists in the world.
